    10.0 Megapixels
A 10.0 Megapixel sensor captures every scene in vivid detail, ready for creative cropping or turning into superb-quality, poster-size prints.

    Get closer
For total flexibility when framing your shots, the PowerShot E1 features a Canon optical 4x zoom. Optical Image Stabilizer technology guards images against the effects of camera shake, for consistently sharp results.

    Unique design
With its head-turning, curvaceous design – finished in a choice of white, pink and blue - the PowerShot E1 stands out in any crowd. Its compact build fits easily into a pocket or shoulder bag.

    Modes for every occasion
A range of 17 shooting modes – including Easy Mode, for simple point-and-shoot operation - helps you take great pictures even in tricky lighting conditions. My Colors photo effects, such as black and white, can be applied either in shooting or playback.

    Face Detection Technology
Superb people shots come easily with Face Detection AF/AE/FE/WB, which detects up to nine faces and adjusts focus, exposure, flash settings and white balance - for optimal results with natural-looking skin tones. Face Select & Track lets you choose and track a subject, so you never lose a special face in the crowd.

    Auto Red Eye Correction
Remove red eye, fast and accurately. Get automatic red-eye removal immediately after your shot is taken – or choose between manual or automatic correction in playback.

    Keep shots blur-free
A combination of Canon technologies saves shots from blurriness. Activated in High ISO Auto, Motion Detection Technology uses Face Detection Technology, the optical Image Stabilizer and scene information - on both scene brightness and changes between individual frames - to identify subject motion and camera-shake. ISO is also optimised for minimum blur and maximum image quality.

    DIGIC III and iSAPS
Canon's DIGIC III processor provides fast response times, superb image quality and advanced noise reduction for sharper, clearer images. iSAPS technology uses shooting scene data to optimise camera settings even before a shot is taken.

    2.5” LCD and OVF
Frame shots with a bright 2.5” LCD screen, then share them easily with friends thanks to a wide viewing angle. Alternatively, use the real-image optical viewfinder (OVF) to preserve battery life.

    Movie options
Supplement your photos with smooth, 30fps VGA movie clips. A special Long Play option uses around half the normal memory card space.
